I had a lot of days off this last few days. Then I did a night shift last night. The result? I feel so terrible. I was so tired and can't open my eyes. So what I did was fill up my system with cups of co fees. I don't want to end up kick and punch by my patient especially I had a murderous patient last night. My patent's history is obsessive compulsive schizophrenic and shot his mum with a shotgun when he was 20. Now he is on his late thirties but still a very dangerous man. He stalks people he doesn't like and I was so scared he's gonna wake up and murdered me! But luckily he was heavily sedated. The nurse that I handed over this morning was very scared because they are going to wake the patient up and take the tube out and we don't know what his behaviour will be. Anyway, I need to go now I am going to work and I still need to look for birthday gifts for grandma. Ciao!
Kids Dream Holiday
After a week of raining and cold weather (around 20c - yes that is very cold for us!) we finally have the perfect summer. Bring on the swimsuit! Not for me thiugh because I am very fat at the moment. Planning to lose some weight though... in my dreams. LOL. Anyhow, this is the perfect time to buy winter gears like skis and thule ski rack. My kids dream holiday is to go to Canbera next winter and go to Mt. buler to experience a snowy winter. That will be in eight months time....
Working Too Much
Few days ago I did a night shift then another late shift the following day. I haven't done this type of shift and I thought it will be bad but actually I was perfectly OK and did not feel tired at all. Since agency shifts is very popular here in Australia for extra money I am doing loads right now. My aim is to do at least 32-48 hours every forthnight in top of my 76 hours full time job. I know it is too much but I still have 2-3 days off every week since we are doing a 12 hour shifts. Lord please give me more strength.
The Hang Man
We have a patient admitted few days ago with attempted suicide. He hanged himself in the garage but was save. His wife saw him and his two young kids ages; 12 and 10. Now the wife is in terrible condition and blaiming herself of what happened since it happened after their argument. The worst thing is their kids are suffering. They have five kids in total age from 14 to 5 years old. I saw their family picture and look perfect. I don't know the reason behind it but I felt so sorry for the kids because even if the patient will survive it will hurt and traumatize them. I want to spinabolo to the patient when he wakes up so that he will realize what he's been doing to his family.
Phone Updated To iphone 4S :)
At long last my iphone 3GS was updated to 4S. Yehey!!! The surfing and playing at work (when it is not busy) is better. LOL. Anyway, my 2 girls wanted my old 3GS. After long discussion between them my second daughter won. Since my eldest has her second ipod touch 8 gb
after she broke the first one she let her little sister have my old phone as long as she will let her borrow if she wants to bring it to school. Whatever!
I Have A Bug :(
I admitted a patient last night with nausea and diarrhea. Since she is infected we put her in the side room. And because I am her nurse every time she do a poo-poo I am responsible to clean her up. She did open her bowel four times overnight. It was very very smelly and right there and then after I first cleaned up I suffered with tummy pain until now. I want to throw up too. But I just keep burping. I'm sure she passed her bug to me. The worst thing is the patient is rude. No please or thank you that will make the situation a bit easier... ;(
