How lucky I am today to have my annual leave request granted. I only had 2 hours sleep after two nights so going to work is not safe at all. Eventhough the unit is not that busy, last night there were five of us for two hdu patients but I need to be awake overnight. So doing nothing except sitting and reading and facebooking makes me more tired. What a life! Anyway, we are going shopping tomorrow and my daughter want to buy the replica ed hardy that she saw online.
My Birth Announcement :)
I had a funny dream few nights ago. In my dream I was handing invitations to my friends for my birth announcements. It made me think what if I will have another one again? I'm not that old if I will have another baby. But no way! I am happy with hat I have now. And as I said to my friends and family I want to retire when all of my kids are successful with their chosen career. If I will have another one my dream will end. Instead I need to work until I am 65. Waaaaaaaa!
Looking After Nine Patients
As I mentioned on my last post I said I am going to do agency shift. This time of year ICU is very quiet so I decided to do a shift on the ward. I was assigned in cardiac ward for a nine hours shift. Since it was my first time I had difficulty with the paperworks and doing observations with nine patients in the morning. But overall it wasn't too bad. So I decided to do more shifts in the future, it may be ICU or not. Good luck to me!
On Nights Again!
It is Sunday today and sad to say we did not managed to go to church today. I was so tired after my 12 hours night shift. I work last night without any rest after spending the day shopping with my kids. It was lightheaded and very sleepy the whole night. So when I got home this morning I went straight to bed with my heated blanket even though it wasn't cold. Thanks God I survived. Tonight I am off but decided to do another agency shift so that I have some extra money to spend for my son's coming party.
