We moved to our house two months ago. All our savings are gone because we bought a lot of furniture's and electronic appliances. Now I it is payback time. I need to do more shifts to save again. I want a holiday too! For now because of the money we spent recently we cannot go anywhere. God knows when it will be again. If that time will happen I am going to buy a trailer and a trailer hitch so that we can tour Australia without paying any accommodation. Yay!
More OT For Desktop Computer :)
I want to buy a desktop computer but eventhough I earn a lot right now because of doing a lot of overtime shifts I still can't afford it. I have a lot of things to buy for our new house not to mention the monthly payment for mortgage, bills and food. So desktop is not a priority right now. That is why when my Sony Laptop decided to die recently I had it repaired. Luckily it was done in three days by a Chinese guy who refurbished laptop computers in the city. A bit pricey for $320.00 but cheaper compared to buying anew one.
A Party For My Baby
In three weeks time it will be my little boy's party and I haven't started planning anything yet. I need to organize it now so that the party will turn out good. I need to make the garden pretty and plan what decorations will I get for him. He is fascinated with lego so maybe I will do a lego theme. For giveaways I am planning to get assorted pens, pencils and erasers from smiggles then I will put name tags to make it personalize. What do you think? Is it a good idea? I am not good in planning parties. I am only a nurse :)
I Had Five days Off :(
I had five days off. But do I need to be happy? No because three out of five I did an agency shift. But I still have reason to be happy. Because I managed to earn more apart from my regular job and three shifts (2 x 12 hours and 1 x 8 hrs night shifts) is a lot of money. It will not make me a millionare though but it will make me a thousand richer. And that's only in a week time :)
I Am Working More
I am working more hours right now because I need the money for our house warming and my little one's party next month. I haven't invited any of my friend yet because I need to confirm the priest who will bless our house. Hopefully its gonna be next month. I am not a creative person but this time I would like to make a personal invitation. My friend said that I can get invitations free online. Does anybody know the site where I can get one?
20 Minutes Away From Work
My new work is only 20 minutes drive from home (without the traffic). Not that bad. But poor Natalie who is my eldest who travel to the city an hour by train five days a week. And from the train station she walk up to 20 minutes to get to school. Me and his dad asked her to move to a school nearby but because she is graduating in primary school she want to continue there. Also she is very active in that school where she serves as one of school captain. Anyway, in two months she will graduate so she will have rest period and she will start again in January travelling five times a week that's if she will pass the entrance exam for high achievers class. Speaking about graduation, as early as now we are looking for a prom dresses already for her night out with classmates and teachers.
Not Well
I am not well at all. There is something wrong with me. I have a runny nose for seven days, body ache, sore throat and on and off fever. The colds is easing because I took some anti histamine tablet but I don't know if it will come back again when I go to work tomorrow. Usually it gets worst when I am in the hospital. Hopefully not! As I said on my other blog that I cannot get any sick leave because I just started a new job. Please help me God!
