I have 14 online posts to expire today. Lucky me it wasn't busy last night at work so I managed to write some using the mimio at work. Yehey!!! My supervisor was wandering what I was doing. I just said it's none of her business (joke) I said; it's nothing important. Well she was busy on the computer as well checking her personal e mail that is why she can't tell me off :) Now, 14's done so we are off to the beach. Hurray to that.
Annoyed
I have a colleague that sometimes I found so annoying. She is very friendly but I have a problem with her at times. There are days/nights that I don't want to talk and I want to be on my own just focusing my mind to the patient. Then here she comes asking why you are you so quiet and not talking to her. For goodness sake. I am not there to entertain her. Can she just shut up! How will I tell her that without being rude?
Off To Gold Coast
After doing two nights. I am off today! Yahoo!!! The sun is shining outside and the weather is perfect for our planned day out. Can you guess where are we heading off? We are going to Gold Coast to enjoy the sun, sand and sea. And maybe do a bit of shopping. My kids are very excited and they can't wait to play and enjoy the beach. But before we can go, I need to finish my online opps that includes the ghr1000 reviews. Enjoy your Sunday everyone!
98 Years of Healthy Life
I was at work last night looking after 98 years old woman who had a hip replacement. She dislocates her hip when she fell down on bed. I thought at first that there is no point having a surgery when are that old. But I was wrong. She had a 98 years of healthy life and this is her first admission in the hospital since birth. She has a very good memory too. She even remember that when she goes home she needs to go shopping and buy acne treatment for her great granddaughter.
Let's Pray For A Miracle
New Zealand right now is suffering with catastropic natural disaster that happened on Monday. 113 dead body recovered yeterday and the number is growing. But there still more than 200 missing including 9 Filipino nurses who happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. They were inside the building to review the IELTS for them to be able to practice nursing in NZ. As what I heard in the news most of them just arrived from Philippines. I hope that rescuers will not stop digging until they found their body. Miracle happens. Let's pray for them and to everybody who was involved in the earthquake.
Good Luck To Me
In three weeks time I am going to take my first practical driving exam. I have been driving for quite some time now (mostly in the UK) but using my international license. It is illegal because UK government only allow one year of driving in the country using international license. I wasn't caught that is why I lasted that long :) This time I want to be legal and decided to take the practical test so that I can drive whenever I want without feeling nervous and guilty. So in three weeks time I am going to do it. I hope on the day of the test I will not have the extenze side effects so that I will pass. I need to be careful and focus. Wish me luck guys!
The Nurse Who Blogs
I am off today but not for long because I am on again on night shift tomorrow. Nevermind, at least I have a job that pays good which is enough for me and my family. Actually, more than enough because I do a lot of extra shifts. For everybody who knew me. I am a type of person who doesn't settle in basic pay. I work more to earn more. Even the blogging business which is unusual for a nurse like me to join this business I did. I've been blogging for more than three years now and so far I am earning. Help Me Pray For Him
Please help me to pray for my dear cousin Vince Dale to survive. He is in a coma for more than a month now. He was admitted in Cebu for a month but he did not improve. Now he is in PGH Manila and confined in ICU. He is very young and there's a lot of potential for this cousin of mine. He is only 21 years old and just starting his life. He graduated in Bachelor of Science in nursing year 2009 and proceeded to Medicine but then during medical exam he was advised for a rest because of his poor eyesight. He travelled all the way to Luzon the whole December. He came back to Cebu, found a work immediately but then collapsed at home before his third duty at work. Please help me pray for my dear cousin!
On Losing Weight
I am very happy that I can wear my tight uniform again. No, I am not taking the most effective diet pills yet but I am doing zumba workout five times a week even after a night shift. Because of this my upper half especially my arms and shoulder is more firm. I wish I can do the same thing with my tummy and waistline. Sigh....
On Getting Old
My husband cannot deny the fact that he is getting old - he will be 39 this year. He has more white hair now and he is losing his hair at the front. I'm sure he will not happy with this post :) Anyhow, if you know any natural hair loss treatment can you tell me please. It will be a big help for his balding head. Yay!
Racism At Work
I mentioned here before that I have a supervisor that is a racist. She is not Australian but she is white from another country. I had enough of her so I told my acting manager two months ago. I don't know what's her problem with us Asian but she always kept an eye on us and sometimes she makes us stupid even when there are other people around. In my 10 years abroad this is the first time I encounter a racist colleague. As what I gather she knew that I am the one who told the manager. But I don't care because that's what we feel. I am just speaking for us Asians. Now she is more friendlier to us and not causing any trouble. Good on her!
WE Can Do It
I received a bad news last week. My friend, who used to be my colleague when I was still in Philippines died because of heart attacked. She just turned 40 last month. She is very young to die. Now I realized that we need to be careful with our health, especially that we are getting older. We need to eat healthy foods and do routine exercise to avoid this to us. We don't want to leave our families. I still want to travel, see my kids grow up and see them succeed with their life. So to all my friends we can make it!!! We need to try for our own good! OK!!!
By the way I am off now because I need to look for cheap car insurance quotes for the car I am planning to buy.
Night Tonight
I was hoping to have a night off tonight but I did not get it. I want to bring the kids to the park this afternoon but then I need to rest so that I can survive another night shift. Anyway, there still some days to come that I can enjoy going out with them. Tomorrow I will try my luck and request a day off. My kids want to go swimming and there's an invitation for a party and hoping that maybe we can go. Anyway, I need to do some printing job in our laserjet 3700 toner for my daughter's speech who is running for a school captain in their school. Bye!
HP Toner Cartridge
I am so mad that I need to buy two sets of hp toner cartridges because the first one that I bought is not working because the printer is broken. I was annoyed because the first set was already expensive and I need to buy another set again. So there you go. After two sets and two trips to the store we managed to print my husband application letter. I was so tired especially that I did this after a night shift and I am still on night that day. The most annoying thing is he did not get the job! Urgh!!!
My Valentines Date
It's been a while that I did not write any post in all my blogs. I am tired all the time because of work and housework. Not to mention the time that I spent on facebook. Anyway, it's nearly the day of heart! Any plan boys and girls? Us as usual no time for me and hubby on our own because we are going out as a family. I recieved an invitation to attend a formal party where boys needs to wear a formal suit with a bow tie and ladies needs to be on their gowns. But sad to say we are not coming because it's only for couple and we cannot do it because we have kids to bring. Maybe next, next year when my eldest is big enough to look after her little sister and brother.
