I think all of you are already aware of the 14 year old British lad who looks like 8 years old who became a dad at very early age.I don't really know who to blame. Is it his parents, school, teacher, government? Don't really know. But living here in UK as what I noticed they have sex education at very early age. Even my 10 years old daughter already have one. In Philippines during our time from elementary to high school we did not had sex education instead we had values education. I don't know if it's the reason. But pregnancy cases in Philippines who are below 16 is low compared in here.
Here is a scenerio that I witnessed not once but thrice. A 13 years old girl was admitted by her teacher for abortion, parents are not aware. As what I gather teachers are allowed to do this. Children have their rights to have their secret private from parents. Absolutely disgusting!!! They can even ask a morning pills from a school nurse not knowing by parents. But you know what if your child needs Paracetamol at school they will call you and let you know that your child had Paracetamol but they will not tell you if your daughter had contraceptive pills. And that makes my blood boil!!!
Who To Blame?
Sick Again
I'm sick again. I have a flu. I was at work last night and I got worst. Every winter I always get sick. One reason is that I don't avail the flu job. Why? Because as I said before I have an injection phobia and also I tried to have it before and I was poorly for few days. So I decided not to have it anymore. Hopefully, I will be better soon.
It's Nice To Have A Friend

Picture above is me and my pal Grace in our old ICU/HDU during one of our night shift together. We started at the same time at Critical Care 7 years ago. As you all know (if you read my other blogs) I applied to Australia. And you know what? Because she's my buddy she will be moving there as well, the same place and the same hospital. Yahoo!
Blind the Whole Day
Few days ago when I went to work, I forgotten my eyeglasses at home. Oh boy! I suffered the whole day with headache. I was blind for the whole day. Just kidding. I can still see but a little bit blurry when I am not near to patient's monitor. Anyway, have you heard about Zenni Optical in the New York Times?! Yes dear readers it is true. Why? It is because they offer a very good quality prescription glasses at very affordable prices. Seeing Straight Without Breaking Bank is possible with Zenni Optical. The one below is my favourite but in blue color. Check their site now and avail Prescription eyeglasses for only $8!
Honesty is The Best Policy
Some of my readers commented if all the posts that I write in here are true. Yes, everything are true and based to what I hear and what I experienced at work. It pays to be honest, you know.

Don't Press The Code Blue
There was a little drama happened at work today. I had two patient and one of them used a commode to do number 2 (poo). He was OK but he needs assistance especially that he's got a lot of wires that is connected to monitor. Because he need some privacy I told him that I will come back and help him. Then in less than 2 minutes I heard a loud noise. When I check, the patient was already on the floor. He was concious and he said he did not hurt himself. Whew! Then one of my colleague came and help me out. But the patient cannot stand up. You know what did she do? She pressed the code blue button. What a stupid moved. The result? 8 people came to the rescue, including 3 doctors. They thought that my patient arrested. I told her, "See?"
A Fussy Nurse
At the start of my shift today at work my friend Grace who was on night shift told me not to go to a patient name ______ because her head is full of head lice. I can look after any case but patient with head lice, no no. I just can't. It makes me itchy and of course I cannot concentrate doing what I do, especially when I see it crawling everywhere.
The Bum

Wanted : Backbone
I haven't updated this blog for quite some time now. The reason? I'm always working. My shift has been mad recently because of my long off on December and early January. Just like this week after my night yesterday (Sunday) morning I'm on long day today and tomorrow and night again the following day which is Wednesday. I don't know if I still have enough energy until this week ends because I hurt my back when we moved an obese patient up the bed. What I need now is a new back/backbone. Have you got one to spare?
