Nursing in Australia

I am in Australia now and I'm sure it will be different but at least I will still do the same thing. Nursing very sick and poorly people. And I'm glad that I'm still assigned in ICU. I went to the hospital yesterday for a bit of orientation ( i will have my proper one on Monday) and I was able to look at the ward that I will be working. After having exposed to a big unit back in UK I was so surprised that the unit here is so small. But they are moving to a new one on October so hopefully the setting will be better. I'm sure everything will be new including office furniture. For now I need to cope what they have and I'm sure I will :)

Hello
Nice to read around your blog.
For some reason I was hospitalized 2 times on a total of almost 2 months... so, I kinda got closer to the nurses who took care of me :)
Always wonder how life of a nurse is...
